mirror universe lizard-socks also wrote Pandacap but he gave it a single infinite-scrolling feed. That's the only difference

Went to a trans day of remembrance service at my childhood church last night. Was a really lovely thing and I'm glad I heard about it and was able to go.
Had a dream that people left a bunch of stuff at my place after a party, including laundry, fresh strawberries, a dog, and 3 copies of a biography of Teri DeSario
guess who's been sitting on the floor with a usb cable tester and a label printer for the past 2 hours
They're willing to lend you an issue of the news magazine, but they don't want you just standing there paging through it.
In other words, you can check out any Time you like, but you can never leaf.

The Astros shouldn't get to have Chevy, Honda, and Lexus signs. They should have to pick one
Does this mosquito spray keep mosquitos away or turn you into a giant mosquito? I guess either way is fine
So as a bit of a challenge to myself, I've made https://pandacap.azurewebsites.net pretty much independent of Bluesky infrastructure: it follows users on their own PDSes like an RSS feed, posts using Bridgy Fed, and finds notifications with Constellation (so I guess I am still dependent on a Raspberry Pi at someone's house lol). Only thing it uses Bluesky for anymore is a CDN for thumbnails and that's not totally necessary.
I'm curious to try the Bridgy Fed thing where it notifies you of interactions now. Maybe I can get away with just the one account again if that works well enough, since I can follow people on either side just fine without needing a home feed
Lukewarm take: ESPN should get rid of the ticker but ABC shouldn't

There's no way that Tiana's mom didn't find out she turned into a frog for a bit there. idk how else you explain everything
Nothing is more baseball than calling something a "classic" even when it's the first time you've done it
The 2026 Nissan Leaf's two charging ports sounds like something a software developer would try to convince project managers to let them do in order to save some time
Maybe someday, decades from now, we'll finally be able to live the dream of yielding from the body of a try block with a catch clause
The best of both worlds isn't always the best overall. If your channel had NBC's best show and CBS's best show, that's still only 2 shows.
