A group of cartoon characters: 1. Boulder Wants things to last; afraid of change . 2. Basketball Worried about letting people down in clutch moments . 3. Alarm Preoccupied with punctuality and safety in general . 4. Disk Afraid of losing precious memories and relationships . 5. Vending Machine Obsessed with his manners and hospitality; worries about causing offense. 6. Pepper Shaker Just wants to hide in a cupboard and be left alone.

Potential characters for a story idea I've had for years (https://pandacap.azurewebsites.net/UserPosts/5fae5c38-62aa-8491-3689-4725f64bb4b0), about a college freshman whose dorm is full of living objects that only talk to him (and who used to be normal people).

Eventually the college kid has to turn into an object too, so he can chase after someone he's worried about and talk to them.

(Not all of them turn back to people by the end!)
