The alt text will have some descriptions of what I envision this game to be, so you can check them out if you wanna! There are two main mechanics in this hypothetical RPG: Roles and Systems. Roles are essentially classes that a character can swap between. Each role augments the character’s stats, as well as interacting with a character’s System to provide different benefits and additional actions. There are five Roles (as of now): Sword, Dagger, Shield, Staff, and Tome. In most cases, a character can only switch their Role outside of battle. Systems are mechanics unique to individual characters. They provide actions that other characters are unable to perform (in most cases). Each Role will interact differently with a character’s System compared to other roles. Other than actions and some other things, a character’s System generally remains the same.
